We’re thrilled to announce an exciting new restaurant concept coming soon to the iconic Manly Wharf! Showcasing bold, modern Asian vibrant flavours and dishes designed to be shared, this venue will blend modern dining with a lively, welcoming atmosphere perfect for families, friends, and food lovers alike.

As we get ready to open our doors early December, we’re searching for a passionate Senior Sous Chef where you will work closely with the Head Chef to oversee kitchen operations, ensure consistency in quality and presentation, and support the development of a motivated, high-performing team. You’ll bring a strong eye for detail, excellent organisational skills, and a love for fresh, seasonal produce.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, mentor and train kitchen staff to uphold high culinary standards
• Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation
• Maintain strong kitchen organisation, stock control, and food safety standards
• Assist in menu development and implementation
• Ensure cost efficiency and manage ordering and waste reduction
• Support the Head Chef in daily operations and step up in their absence

What we are looking for:

• Previous experience as a Sous or Senior Sous Chef with Asian cuisine
• Strong leadership, communication, and mentoring skills
• A hands-on approach with a commitment to excellence and consistency
• Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen compliance
• Creativity and passion for delivering memorable food experiences
