About the RoleWe are currently seeking an experienced and passionate Full-Time Centre Cook to join one of our valued client centres located in Carlingford.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys preparing fresh, nutritious meals for children and takes pride in creating positive mealtime experiences that support children's health, wellbeing, and development.

- Plan and prepare healthy, nutritious, and age-appropriate meals and snacks in line with the Australian Dietary Guidelines and centre menu requirements.
- Cater for children's allergies, dietary requirements, and cultural preferences.
- Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen cleanliness in accordance with NSW Food Safety regulations.
- Monitor food stock, place orders, and minimise food waste.
- Ensure all kitchen documentation, temperature records, and food safety procedures are completed accurately.
- Work collaboratively with educators and centre leadership to support children's wellbeing and daily routines.
- Create positive relationships with children and families while promoting healthy eating habits.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous experience working as a cook, preferably within an Early Childhood Education and Care setting.
- Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (or willingness to obtain if required).
- Knowledge of allergy management and safe food handling practices.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- A genuine passion for preparing nutritious meals for young children.
- A current Working With Children Check (or be eligible to obtain one).
