New Town Thai is a sophisticated and uniquely styled restaurant at West HQ, designed to reflect the rich colours and vibrancy of Thai cuisine while offering a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere for guests to enjoy with friends and family.
CHU Restaurant by China Doll offers an elevated Pan-Asian dining experience, blending modern techniques with the flavours of Chinese, Japanese, Hong Kong and Southeast Asian cuisines. Using premium and ethically sourced ingredients, CHU delivers a refined and contemporary menu within a stunning setting.
Working across our venues, you will be part of a fast-paced and professional kitchen environment, focused on delivering high-quality dishes with consistency and care.
Our Perfect Fit
We are looking for passionate Chefs and Cooks who bring hands-on experience in Thai and Asian cuisine. Someone who thrives in a fast-paced kitchen, works well within a team, and takes pride in delivering high-quality food. Someone who is reliable, adaptable, and comfortable working a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends and public holidays.
- Proven experience working with Thai and/or Asian cuisine
- Experience using a wok and understanding of traditional cooking techniques
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen
- Strong attention to detail and consistency in food preparation
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Willingness to work a range of shifts including lunch and dinner
- Availability across 7 days, including nights, weekends and public holidays
- Full Australian working rights
- Knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards
