About the opportunity
This part-time weekend position offers 16 hours per week across Saturday and Sunday. You’ll be responsible for preparing nutritious, high-quality meals in a structured kitchen environment, supporting the wellbeing of our residents while working alongside a small, friendly team. With no evening or split shifts, this role is perfect for a chef seeking regular weekend work.

The role:

Cater Care seeks to appoint an enthusiastic chef at one of our key aged care sites in Coniston

Responsibilities:

  • Preparing & presenting food for our residents
  • Maintaining a clean working environment
  • Ongoing Menu Development & Refinement
  • Fast, effective service - provided with a positive attitude
  • Working with texture modified foods


Skills And Experiences

Your background:

  • Previous experience in a similar role 
  • Warm & friendly energy
  • Punctuality & reliability
  • Exceptional presentation, communication, time management & attention to detail
  • Adherence to food & general safety practices
  • NSW Food Safety Certificate
