The Role

You will be part of a team dedicated to our residents, contributing to a model of care that goes above and beyond every day. The Chef Manager position is a great opportunity to move into an essential and secure industry. Every day you will be making a difference in people’s lives, building fabulous relationships with our residents and their families. 

  • Cooking high quality, nutritious meals for senior residents
  • Adapting dishes to suit dietary, allergy and modified food requirements
  • Ensuring all food is prepared, cooked and served in accordance with legislation

    To be successful, you will have:

    • Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery (or proven equivalent experience)
    • Food Handling and Hygiene certificate
    • Demonstrated leadership experience as a Chef, preferably in an aged care (or similar) environment.
    • Previous experience in total kitchen operations and site management
    • Demonstrated knowledge of State Food Safe regulations
    • Experience managing staff, as well as food and operational costs
    • Demonstrated knowledge regarding nutrition and the importance of dietary requirements
    • Current national police check (or willingness to obtain) 
    • NDIS Worker Clearance (or willingness to obtain)
    • Evidence of Australian work rights
