The Location The Ormsby, a 136-bed residential aged care facility located in Buderim.
The Job responsibilities.
Assist the chefs with food prep and engage in variety of activities such as cooking, re-heating, portioning, preserving of foods. You will also be required to communicate effectively, be reliable, ability to work within a team environment and be physically able for kitchen duties.
- Cert III in Commercial Cookery or possess the knowledge, skills and experience deemed to be equivalent by Bolton Clarke.
- Previous experience in commercial catering or other food services, Aged Care or Hospital setting highly desirable.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Food Safe Regulations (Aged Care Standards)
- Full Australian Working Rights
- Willingness to apply for a National Police Check
- Provide certificate of Qualifications
- Photo Identification
- Provide x2 references of previous manager/supervisor
