Lune exists to create exceptional experiences, moments of joy, and excellence in the everyday; and we’re growing our pastry team in support of our new Gold Coast venue.
We’re looking for 3 full-time Senior Pastry Chefs and 1 Pastry Chef to join the team in support of our newest Lune venture at Pacific Fair. Whether you’re experienced in patisserie or wanting to take the next step in your pastry journey, you’ll be supported through structured onboarding, hands-on training, and a passionate, skilled team.
What the role involves:
Senior Pastry Chef
- Following recipes and production schedules with precision
- Ensuring high standards of food safety, hygiene, and presentation
- Assist with the day-to-day coordination of kitchen staff to align with
production requirement - Provide clear direction and support to line staff during shifts, ensuring the team is organised and working effectively
- Contributing to a positive, collaborative kitchen culture
Pastry Chef
- Following systems for consistency, speed and quality
- Producing and finishing our signature viennoiserie
- Supporting pastry prep, baking, and finishing
- Maintaining food safety and kitchen hygiene standards
We’re looking for people who: - Have at least 2 years’ experience in a kitchen, restaurant or pastry environment
- Have 2 years' shift coordination experience (Senior Chefs only)
- Bring strong time management skills and a great work ethic
- Are flexible with shift times (8am-4pm or 11am-9pm)
- Are open to learning and thrive on feedback
- Have full working rights in Australia
What we offer: - Senior Chef: Salary of $76,500 + super
- Pastry Chef: Salary of $72,000 + super
