Executive Chef – Award-Winning Tama Dining | Artesian Hospitality

GPO and Tama Dining has quickly become one of Brisbane’s most celebrated dining destinations. As part of Artesian Hospitality’s premium portfolio.

We are now seeking an inspiring and highly skilled Executive Chef to take the reins and lead our award-winning kitchen, driving continued excellence across our 3 venues.


About the Role:

As Executive Chef, you will be responsible for leading and inspiring the kitchen team.

This Is a hands on role to uphold the highest standards in food quality, consistency, and presentation. You will have the creative freedom to shape the menu and work towards an exciting new concept.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, including menu development, food preparation, and service quality.
  • Lead, train, and mentor a high-performing team, fostering a culture of excellence.
  • Maintain strict food safety and hygiene standards to ensure a compliant and professional kitchen.
  • Manage food costs, stock control, and supplier relationships to maintain profitability.
  • Collaborate with front-of-house teams to ensure a seamless guest experience.
  • Work alongside the group exec chef to Uphold Tama Dining’s reputation for innovation, creativity, and high-caliber dining.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience as an Executive Chef or Head Chef in a premium dining restaurant.
  • A strong leadership mindset with a passion for mentoring and inspiring teams.
  • Extensive knowledge of culinary techniques and seasonal produce.
  • A track record of menu innovation that excites and delights guests.
  • Strong business acumen with experience in cost control, stock management, and supplier negotiation.
  • Dedication to continuous learning and growth within the industry.
  • Experience of Spanish cuisine beneficial

Roster & Employment Details

  • General schedule: Wednesday to Saturday (4-day roster), with flexibility based on operational needs.
  • Employee benefits: 50% off across all Artesian venues.
  • Existing right to work in Australia is required – we do not offer sponsorship upfront.
  • Sponsorship opportunities may be considered for employees who have been with the business for at least 6 months, meet all KPIs, and demonstrate an exemplary work ethic.
