About the Opportunity

As a Cook, you will provide quality food services to residents and provide kitchen and food preparation support to our Head Chef.  
 
Working Hours:
Week 1 Mon Tues Wed Sun 
Week 2 Non Tues Wed

Duties include but not limited to:

•    Taking direction from the Chef
•    Ensure delicious, well-balanced and nutritional meals are planned, prepared and presented to meet the needs of our residents
•    Assist with general food preparation, kitchen duties and stock control
•    Purchase and order stock and equipment
•    Ensuring all food is prepared, cooked and served in accordance with legislation
 

About You

To be successful, you'll need:

•    Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent
•    Demonstrated minimum 2 years experience in a commercial kitchen within aged care/healthcare
•    Bulk cooking experience highly desirable
•    Experience with texture modified food advantageous
•    Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families and co-workers
•    Current COVID & Annual Flu Vaccination (Mandatory)
