Weekly Pay | 10% Above Award Wage - further 5% in Dec 2025 | 50% of Childcare fees

We are looking for an experienced Cook to join the team at Grasshoppers Early Learning Centre - Hoppers to produce high quality, nutritious meals and snacks for up to 107 children each day. 

This role is Full-Time working 38 hours per week, 7am to 3pm Monday to Thursday and 7am to 3.30pm on Friday.

We have a long-standing team of educators and teachers that delivers purposeful teaching and learning through effective early childhood education practices.

At capacity our Centre caters for up to 107 children with operating hours from 6am to 6pm, are family orientated and work within the local community.

The Cook will have access to Woolworths at Work menu cooking 4 hot meals a week and 1 day cold foods. Baking morning and afternoon teas

About You

• Experienced in Menu planning, budgeting, stock ordering & control
• Experienced in dietary and allergy safe requirements. 
• Experienced in ensuring a clean and safe kitchen environment in accordance with the relevant Food Safety regulations
• Be a Team Player with great communication and interpersonal skills
• Be available for set shift days and times Monday to Friday

Successful Applicants must hold

• A Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or an ACECQA approved Early Childhood qualification and experience in a cook role
• A current Working with Children’s Check / Blue Card / DCSI Clearance and First Aid
• Completed or willing to complete Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
