W Sydney is now casting for Commis Chefs for various outlets! We have both PT and FT roles available depending on the candidates availability and working rights in Australia. The specific outlets we are looking for are:
Level 29/30 (Roof Top Bar)
BTWN/IRD (Our Signature Restaurant and IRD Service)
The ideal candidate possesses genuine excitement and passion for good food and the desire to grow in the industry. You will work with quality products and assist in the pastry section of the business. Above all, you will be keen to learn and be committed to achieving the very best.
Proven pastry chef experience in a fast paced and quality driven working environment
Well-developed ability to work independently and as part of a strong, diverse and dynamic team
Must be passionate about food and keen to showcase their ability in fast-paced environment
Excellent organisational skills and strong work ethic
Enthusiasm, awareness and great teamwork
Able to communicate and showcase reliability
Wash and disinfect kitchen area, tables, tools, knives, and equipment
Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report maintenance needs, accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager; complete safety training and certifications.
REQUIREMENTS
Available to work overnight shifts, weekends, and public holidays as needed for business demands
Experience and ability to work in a fast paced and quality driven working environment
Must be passionate about food and keen to showcase their ability in fast-paced environment
