Based on the Gold Coast, Bottega GC Pty Ltd is currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Chef to become part of their growing team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Preparing, cooking, and presenting high-quality dishes in line with the restaurant’s standards.
• Planning menus and assisting with the development of new dishes.
• Ensuring food preparation areas are clean, organised, and compliant with food safety standards.
• Monitoring stock levels and assisting with ordering kitchen supplies.
• Supervising kitchen staff and supporting smooth daily kitchen operations.
• Maintaining consistency in portioning, presentation, and quality of meals.
• Ensuring all food is stored, handled, and prepared safely and hygienically.
• Working closely with management to improve kitchen efficiency and service quality.
About you:
• At least one year of relevant experience as a Chef or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen operations.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
• Good organisational and time management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene requirements.
Job Type: Permanent/Full-time
Salary: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per annum.
