We’re looking for a Part-Time Chef to join our small, friendly team at St John’s Grammar- Belair. You’ll be preparing fresh, nutritious meals for 17 students in a supportive school environment. This role is perfect for a cookery student who can commit to 2:00pm–7:00pm, Monday to Friday, or for a chef seeking consistent part-time hours and genuine work-life balance. THE POSITION
- Prepare fresh, nutritious meals for 17 Students
- Contribute to menu ideas using local ingredients
- Monitor stock and minimize wastage
- Adhere to hygiene standards and following proper food handling practices
- Deliver healthy choices and guidance to the future generation
THE PERSON
- Minimum Cert. III Commercial Cookery
- Current Working with Children Check, or ability to obtain
- Experience with cooking in bulk quantities
- Strong understanding of allergen management and food safety
- Passionate about healthy and nutritious food
